La aventura en Sudáfrica llega a su fin y hemos estado trabajando como locos para terminar la tesis. Por eso necesitamos mucha energía y Dirk nos prepara desayunos de campeones. Espero que me valgan los pantalones ahora cuando vuelva a Europa;-S



The South African adventure is coming to an end and we have been working like never to finish the Thesis. That´s why we need loads of Energy and Dirk cooks for us Champion´s breackfasts. I hope I can fit in my trousers when I go back to Europe;-S

Carnaval en Ciudad del Cabo/Carnival at CT

Los días 1 y 2 de enero se celebró en Ciudad del Cabo un carnaval con concurso de bandas por las calles. Impresionante atmósfera de fiesta al más puro estilo de Río de Janeiro: colores, lentejuelas y mucho movimiento de cadera.

The 1st and 2nd of January took place in Cape Town a huge Street Carnival with a Band Competition. Amazing party atmosphere with Rio du Janeiro flavour: colours, spangles and loads of hip-shaking.

¡¡¡¡Nochevieja!!!!/New Year´s Eve!!!

Cena en casa de Dirk (Jan, Dirk, Irina (Austria) y yo), donde ya nos hemos instalado y donde pasaremos el resto de nuestros días en Sudáfrica. A las 9 de la noche nos pusimos guapísimos, o lo intentamos, y nos fuimos a una fiesta en un bar llamado Ignite, en Camps Bay, Ciudad del Cabo. Allí nos encontramos con amigos de Stellenbosch (Tim y sus hermanas, Esther y Judith) y con gente del tour (Torben y Peter, que trajo también a sus amigos holandeses Suzanne, Arjen and Lars (perdón si no escribo los nombres correctamente)). ¡¡¡Nos lo pasamos muy bien, pero eché muchísimo de menos las uvas!!!!



Dinner at Dirk´s place (Jan, Dirk, Irina (Austria) and I), where we have settled down and hill spend the rest of our stay in South Africa. At 9 o´clock at night we dressed up in our best cloths, or we tried, and we went to a party at a club called Ignite, in Camps Bay, CT. There we met some friends from Stellenbosch (Tim and his two sisters, Esther and Judith) and with people from the tour (Torben and Peter, who brought some Dutch friends, Suzanne, Arjen and Lars(sorry if the spelling is wrong)). WE had a great time, but I missed the grapes a lot!!!
